The unfortunate accident transpired on Saturday, September 30, at approximately 7:13 p.m. near the intersection of Front Street and Ingraham Boulevard in Hempstead. According to investigators from the Nassau County Police Homicide Squad, the driver of a 2011 black Chevrolet Camaro was traveling westward along Front Street. As the Camaro approached Ingraham Boulevard, the driver executed a left turn.
Tragically, this maneuver led to a collision with a 2013 black Taizhou motor scooter, which was traveling eastward on Front Street at the time. The crash had a devastating impact, causing severe trauma to the 44-year-old scooter operator.
